Dimitrios Alexopoulos is one of the founders and a board member of Geolympus Ltd. Particularly, he holds the position of Project Manager. His academic background is related to the Geosciences and especially to the Applied Environmental Geology through his master degree, which he acquired from the Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, his wide experience in project management derives from his involvement in preparation and implementation of numerous research projects, as well as from his post graduate studies in Cardiff Metropolitan University in Wales. Concerning his professional experience, he is specialized in environmental protection as well as project management. The last years, he is also involved in the sector of smart agriculture which is highly related to smart cities.
Panagiotis Lymperopoulos
General Director
Panagiotis Lymperopoulos is one of the founders and board member of Geolympus. Particularly, he holds the position of CEO in the company. His academic background is related to the geosciences with specialization on geotechnics through his post graduate studies in Civil Engineering department of Strathclyde University. He also holds a post graduate title in “Management of Business Administration for Supreme Executives” of department of economics in University of Piraeus. His wide experience in the sectors of drilling, evaluation of big infrastructures, as well as investments sustainability, turns out from his involvement in numerous projects. In his work experience portfolio can be included also his collaboration with Hellenic Petroleum company, in oil search and exploitation, with Geostand company in geotechnical services as well as with the Canadian company Bankers Petroleum Ltd for the oil exploitation in oil fields at Albania.
Alexandros Tasianas
Technical Manager
Alexandros Tasianas is one of the founders and a board member of Geolympus Ltd. Particularly, he holds the position of technical manager within the company. Alexandros studied Earth Sciences at the University of Lyon and at the Ecole Normale Superieur of Lyon in France and earned his MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from the Institute of Petroleum Engineering, Heriot-Watt University, UK. He is a PhD candidate in marine geophysics at the Institute of Geology, at the Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø.
